Since Biden was announced as the President-elect, Trump’s political operation has raised over $207 million. As Trump urges his supporters to contribute to fundraisers, he refuses to admit his loss is valid according to a release statement from his campaign.
According to a statement made by Bill Stepien, Trump’s campaign manager, “These tremendous fundraising numbers show President Trump remains the leader and source of energy for the Republican Party and that his supporters are dedicated to fighting for the rightful, legal outcome of the 2020 general election.” He has used a vast amount of appeals that are surpassing fundraising records set during the campaign. Due to the large influx in donations, Trump has continued to make claims of election fraud. However, a great percentage of the funds have helped retire Trump’s campaign debt and pave the way for future operations.
In a report from CNN, “In all, the Trump political operation had sent 414 emails — and another 132 text messages — seeking funds between 11 p.m. ET on Election Night, Nov. 3, and Thursday afternoon.” Trump has yet to concede despite his loss to President-elect Biden.
Though Trump has pushed the election fraud lawsuits, those of them filed have been rejected by state courts and The Supreme Court
