We have nearly made it through the first month of the new year, and with it comes the flooding in of new and improved sources of entertainment. One source of entertainment that people are most excited for is the annual Coachella Festival.
The festival, which is planned to last through Apr. 10 to Apr. 19, is being held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California and has taken place at the venue ever since 1999. The event currently takes place over a span of two weekends and includes artists from various genres of music, including rock, pop, indie, hip hop and EDM.
The venue also has an assortment of intriguing art installations along with iconic sculptures that you are sure to see in friends and families story posts on their social media when the event begins.
While the art installations and such may be nice to look at and take a picture in front of, the main reason so many people from across the nation flock to Coachella is for the vast number of musicians that perform over the six days.
This year’s most notable artists, or the feature presentations of their nights, are the only example one needs to see how truly diverse this years lineup is going to be.
The first of the three features is the unique rock and roll band that has fallen under nearly every rock category, Rage Against The Machine. They are known for their rock and roll favorites, such as Guerilla Radio and Killing in the Name.
The second feature of is the globally praised rapper, Travis Scott, who is known for his numerous top hits like SICKO MODE, Highest in the Room, and Stargazing. Last but definitely not least, the closing feature of Coachella 2020 is none other than the sensational singer-songwriter, Frank Ocean. Ocean is known for hits like, Thinkin About You, Chanel, and many more. Other notable artists that will be making an appearance at the venue include but are not limited to; BROCKHAMPTON, Rex Orange County, YBN Cordae, JID, 21 Savage, Lana Del Rey, and Lil Uzi Vert.
