Along with owning the nonprofit organization Good Things, Senior Adler Zachary manages to take AP classes and be a star player on the waterpolo and swim teams.
Good Things is an organization in which Zachary and others help others who suffer from diseases by utilizing the ocean. When asked about why he started this organization, Zachary commented, “I have lived by the beach my whole life. I have always enjoyed activities such as surfing, skimboarding and bodysurfing. I have also played competitive water polo since I was nine years old. Through my years spent in the water, I have learned that the ocean has medicinal components that can help people who suffer from various diseases. I run this organization so others can experience the same sort of joy from the ocean that I do.”
Zachary’s last project raised over 2,000 dollars and he donated it all to the Mauli Ola Foundation.
He is currently working on a fundraising project to save up money to help people who suffer from cystic fibrosis. To raise money, Zachary is selling shirts on the Good Things Website.
If you want to contribute to Zachary’s nonprofit, you can go to the Good Things Website and buy shirts Zachary has made. All proceeds go to Good Things.
